Human Causes.

Last but not least is human effect of the landslide. This is the major causes that effect the movement of the earth. There a lots of human activity that harm our earth.

Over-development - Human activities such as construction, building, transportation, building dams and canals, and mining can disturb large volumes of earth materials. In fact, landslide damage is increasing every year as our population expands further into hilly regions in whole world.

Deforestation - As the human population grows the demand for clear land for crops, factory and housing grows too. So forests, with trees that hold the soil in place, are logged, burned, and and cut off without limit and government observation.

So this types of human causes surely can damaged all the earth structure on the ground and this will effect human life back with lots of dead cause by landslide.

Physical Causes

The next causes that can effect landslide is physical causes. Normally physical causes cannot be avoided because its related with nature. There are various of physical causes happened in this world such as

•  Intense rainfall Heavy rainfall is one of the most frequent and widespread severe weather hazards. Heavy rainfall can lead to numerous hazards, for example: flooding.

Rapid snow melt - When melting snow is a major source of the water involved in a flood, it is considered a snow melt flood .Unlike rainfall, which reaches the soil almost immediately, snow stores the water for some time until it melts

Prolonged precipitation - This can make the soil in the ground become more soft due to long duration in flooding.

Earthquake - An Earthquake is a sudden, rapid  shaking of the earth caused by the breaking and shifting of rocks beneath the earth surface.

Volcanic eruption - A volcano can be simply defined as a rupture or an opening on the crust of a planet like earth. This opening allows hot ash, molten rock and gases to blow off from the underground spaces.

All this physical factors usually happened for a long period until the ground can't stand anymore but we can prevent all physical causes from happen by stop all the human factors occur.

Morphological

The next factors of landslide are Morphological. Morphology refers to the structure of the land. For example, slopes that lose their vegetation to fire, high temperature or drought are more vulnerable to landslides. Vegetation holds soil in place, and without the root systems of trees, bushes, and other plants, the land is more likely to slide away. A mostly morphological factor is cause by human activity also such as agriculture and construction also can increase the risk of a landslide. Irrigation, deforestation, excavation, and water leakage are some of the common activities that can help destabilize, or weaken, a slope.

The Causes of Landslide (Geological)

Geological is the science compromising the study of solid Earth, the rocks which is composed, and the other word is the movement of the earth. Geological can also give us story about the history of earth because its provide the primary evidence about plate tectonics, the evolutionary history of life and past climates. The geologist also can searching natural sources such as petroleum and many mores. Geologist can also know the age of our earth is about 4.54 Ga ( gigaannum - billion years ago)

Introduction

This blog I create is to tell my research about landslide. I will tell all my readers and my viewers about the history of landslide, how it is happen, what is the factors that causes the landslide and many more. I also will indicate the objective of my blog and I have few of it.

  • To acknowledged people about landslide.
  • To revealed the causes and the factors of landslide.
  • To make people aware about the landslide area.
  • To give an idea to the professional about how to avoid of this thing happen.

A landslide  or landslip is a geological phenomenon which involve a wide range of ground movement such as rock falls, soft soil due to continuous rain, an extreme deforestation and many mores. It shows that the causes of landslide is come from nature reason and because human greed.  In history shows that lots of big country such as Canadian geologist found the proof the biggest landslide history that happened in 10000 years ago in North America. Although many of precautions has been made to prevent it to be happen or at least save human life, landslide will happen if we still underestimate the power of nature.
